Polishing Notes

This clear polish works well on all natural leather products. (Do not use on your polished or patent Kingsley boots!) This product  immediately stands out from ordinary polishes as lighter and more oily. The wax spreads very easily and achieves a high-gloss polish when buffed. For colored leathers that have faded from exposure to the elements, we recommend to first use Saphir Pomadier Cream shoe polish in your choice of color.  Then follow-up with this clear wax polish to further moisturize and provide the high-gloss shine for your boots!

  • Brush the item to remove any dust or dirt.
Apply a small amount of Pâte De Luxe with a cotton chamois cloth or a spreading brush--do not apply to the inner panel that lies against your saddle!
Massage gently to allow Pâte De Luxe to nourish and provide maximum protection to the leather.
Apply one or two coats of Pâte De Luxe, leaving to dry for five minutes between coats.
Gently polish the leather with a bristle brush or a wool glove.
For a high-gloss finish, apply additional coats to the toe, heel, and shaft of the boot. Avoid over-application to the vamp and ankle of the boot because excessive movement can crack a particularly thick wax coating.
