Introduction: Livin' Our Dream at Misty View Farm

Yes indeed. When we were fortunate enough to acquire Misty View Farm in 2006, it was the the realization of but also the very beginning of a long-held dream to have enough space to bring our horses and enough space on which we could both build homes for our own future families, so that we could live next door to each other (and next door to our amazing, ever-supportive parents). And so...over time, the one house on the property eventually turned in to three...one of the front fields had a section converted into an outdoor riding ring...a section of the woods in back made way for a Morton indoor riding arena...and our original group of 4 horses has over the years grown somehow...

Welcome to our blog space where we plan to share the triumphs, trials, and tribulations of adult amateur horse ownership and the joys and challenges of running our hobby horse farm, all while juggling full time jobs, an equestrian business, and (most importantly) a bustling family life!

If you're taking the time to read this, you no doubt already know that horse ownership is not for the faint of heart, but if you've got "the horse bug," you'd have it no other way. So if you're interested in hearing more from two crazy horse sisters as we share our experiences with horse and farm ownership, AA dressage, and running our own equestrian business...tune in!
